High Temperature Silicone RTV Adhesive Sealant

Replacement For:
  • GE 159, RTV 159, GE 106, RTV 106 (Momentive RTV159, RTV106) and Dow 736, RTV 736 (Dow Corning 736).
  • MIL-A-46106 Group III, Type I related materials.

Product Description:
AS159 is a high strength, high temperature, acetoxy cure silicone RTV adhesive rubber developed for applications requiring fast development of physical properties and excellent adhesion.
AS159 is a 1 part high temperature silicone that when cured resists weathering, ozone, moisture and UV. AS159 works well in manual and automatic dispensing equipment.

Product Features:
  • Room Temperature Cure.
  • Thixotropic paste.
  • Excellent unprimed adhesion to plastic, metal and glass.

Curing:
RTV stands for Room Temperature Vulcanization, which means to cure at
room temperature. Typical utilization involves dispensing in open air and after
exposure to ambient humidity, a room temperature cured rubber is formed.

Shelf-life:
In sealed containers, 1 year when stored in a cool dry area.

Packaging:
Available in standard 2.8 fl. oz. tubes and 10.3 fl. oz. cartridges. Other size packaging available upon request.
