MIL-PRF-83483E Anti-seize Compound
Armites molybdenum disulfide based anti-seize compound is manufactured to conform to the requirements of military specification MIL-PRF-83483E (Formely MIL-T-83483).
This compound contains molybdenum disulfide, which at higher-temperature conditions (1000F and above) may induce hot corrosion of fastener or contiguous materials. Accordingly, its use at higher temperatures should be avoided.
Molybdenum disulfide, with its excellent lubricity and high load capacity, is particularly suitable for use on aircraft spark plugs and threaded fasteners and fittings at temperatures below 800F.
