Description:
PR-1440 Class B Fuel Tank Sealant is engineered to provide reliable sealing for integral fuel tanks and aircraft fuselage applications. With a service temperature range from -65°F (-54°C) to 250°F (121°C), and intermittent excursions up to 275°F (135°C), this sealant ensures durability and stability in varying operational conditions. Specifically designed for fillet sealing of fuel tanks, it maintains excellent elastomeric properties even after prolonged exposure to jet fuel and aviation gas.

Formulated as a two-part, manganese dioxide cured polysulfide compound, PR-1440 Class B Sealant offers ease of application and superior adhesion. Its uncured material is a low sag, thixotropic paste suitable for application by extrusion gun or spatula. Upon curing at room temperature, it forms a resilient sealant with outstanding adhesion to common aircraft substrates.
