PR-1773 Class B Corrosion Inhibitive Access Door Sealant is engineered to protect aircraft components from corrosion effectively. Designed as a low adhesive, non-chromate sealant, it provides a reliable barrier against corrosion on aluminum alloys and between dissimilar metals. With a service temperature range from -65°F (-54°C) to 250°F (121°C), and intermittent excursions up to 300°F (149°C), it ensures stability and protection even in demanding conditions.
This two-part, manganese dioxide cured polysulfide compound is formulated to offer easy application and superior performance. Its low sag, thixotropic paste consistency makes it suitable for application by extrusion gun or spatula, allowing for precise sealing. Once cured at room temperature, it forms a removable seal on common aircraft substrates.
